Decided to try this foundation as my first Soap and Glory make up product since I love their skincare so much. I currently love their most you madly fragrance body spray and also their cleanser selection. The brand is so so pretty and their make up collection is increasing in size.
I love the name of the foundation also -
One Heck of a Blot!
The packaging is quite simplistic but the best thing about it is that there is a pump for easy application.
I ended up having to use about two full pumps for my face.
When I applied it rubs in and dries extremely quickly on the face - kind of hardens and so the feel of the foundation on the face is quite strange. When it dries it leaves a lovely coverage on the face however within about 30 minutes it builds in your pores even with primer and powder and it cracks around your face and gives a sort of caked look. It mainly cracked around my smile lines but also at the side of my nose.
The foundation cost me £12 from Boots. So was quite cheap compared to your high end foundations. There is also a very limited colour selection for this foundation, I think there was maybe 4 or 5 options for colour match.
